After authoring numerous research papers and case studies, I experienced great pleasure when I co-authored, “Social Media Simplified: Twitter, Facebook Beyond Casual Networking” with Vijayendra Haryal. This was my first experience of authoring a book.
The motivation behind authoring this book was to share some social media insights with enthusiastic Indian social media users. The book has an equal blend of concepts and case studies. We have included case studies of 30 brands operating in India and discussed their social media usage. This book should be an ideal read for novice social media enthusiasts, social media practitioners, brands that are planning to enter social media, academicians, consultants, digital media students etc.
