Zebronics Twitter Customer Support

Zebronics Customer Support simply impressed me in my dire need. It all started with the beginning of online classes for pre-primary grades in Bengaluru. My personal laptop, Dell Inspiron aged 11 years, had issues with its integrated web camera and mic. Hence, I decided to buy a plug and play web camera for my son to attend the online classes. Though, the delivery of non-essential goods was opened in the lockdown period (check out my earlier blogpost on drone videos of famous cities in India, during lockdown), the delivery dates were delayed by almost a month and more. Then, I ventured out on streets to check with laptop and accessories shops for it. I just had Logitech brand in mind, but while I stepped into each shop, I just wanted some external web camera. The extensive search across over 35-40 shops didn’t help. During that wander one of the shop keeper mentioned an alternate brand – Zebronics. I do own an external speaker from Zebronics, but somehow the brand name didn’t strike me earlier. Nevertheless, even Zebronics wasn’t available in the market.

After I returned with the failed attempt. I started checking individual brand websites. I noticed that Zebronics had an e-commerce facility, but the Add to Cart feature was disabled. Then I resorted to Twitter and enquired with the below tweet, hoping their customer support team will notice this.

And guess what! They did reply the next day morning, which was very impressive given the lockdown scenario. I was impressed with the online customer support that the brand was having.

After I detailed my need, they asked me share my contact details.

Once again, to my surprise, I received a call from a gentleman within four hours of me sharing my contact details. He spoke very well and understood my requirement. He said, he will check with his distributors in Bengaluru and come back.

I was glad that within few hours the gentleman reverted with couple of distributor contact details. I reached out them and within 24 hours I got the product from one of the distributors.

During lockdown when many brands were struggling to maintain a good customer support, my experience with Zebronics was super impressive. It wasn’t just about the Twitter exchange, but the way their support went till the last mile of helping me buy the product was the key aspect. Also, after I confirmed the purchase, the gentleman gave contact details of an engineer, in case I find any difficulty in using the product.
